The intuitive environment with a straight-forward user interface includes a powerful MS Word-like Unicode word-processor with dynamic styles and live spell checker, advanced approach to working with graphical and video files, automatic correction system, and many other useful tools.Based on the original technologies HelpSmith, provides you with an easy way to create help files and documentation from scratch and also allows you to import help topics from HTML, Word RTF, TXT files that can be written in multiple ANSI and Unicode encodings.
HelpSmith helps you provide help files for your own application in popular help formats one of which is CHM files, a standard format for Help documentation in Windows. HelpSmith has support for all the features of CHM Help, allowing you to create the tree-type TOC, Index, edit and create custom chm viewer's help windows, etc.
The "What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get" principle makes working with HelpSmith as easy as working with regular office application. And, in fact, you do not have to learn any technical details to build first-class help files with the HelpSmith authoring tool.
